Last Supper Club

So last night Kevin IM’d me and was like “we’re still on for the club?” I was all confused.. what club? huh?

I guess the other night he mentioned going to The Last Supper Club because his friend Ryan was coming into town. I was so freaking tired last night, that I was a little shady about going. Anyways, after dinner I took a nap until 9 and got a call from Kevin — I decided, what they heck.. I don’t have to work tomorrow, got dressed and was like “Ly, let’s go!” Anyways… after two energy drinks at 7/11, I was ready to go.

After picking Kevin and Ryan up and listening to them talk about the good ole days of High School (did you know he went to High School in Portland?) … anyways, we found ourselves some parking and headed in.

None of us had been there before, so as we walked in we looked like a bunch of tourists, inspecting the place and the crowd. We quickly found the bar and started ordering some drinks. I think one of the funiest shit I saw was their projected compilation of B-movies on their screens.. it was pretty messed up! :-)

The music was pretty good when we arrived and then it happened, the real Djs got up and wow - what a difference. It was freaking awesome. Kevin wanted to get close to watch them do their stuff — something I had never really thought of doing. It’s amazing how much energy you actually get from the DJ and watching them mix… I definately respect it a lot more as as an amazing skill. One of the DJs even broke out with a saxophone (weird, I know, but it was just incredible).

We danced until they turned on the lights, waited forever for our coats and left. We all were walking to my car and saying things like “WHAT? I can’t hear you over the ringing of my ears!” Which was so true. Luckily the ringing has died down this morning and I’m ready for more. I definately recommend going there if they have good DJs, except order from the waitress and not the bartenders. You’ll get your drinks super fast and not be over charged. (The waitress charges $6 for a double G&T while the bartender will charge you $9, and over look you for like over 5 minutes while you’re standing there).

You are definitly right about the ordering from the waitress. Not only does she charge less and make the process easier, she was hot as hell!
I had a blast and I’m glad you decided to come with. Watching a good house dj live can be extremely entertaining. We’ll have to go again sometime soon.

    Last Supper Club
Since Trevor covered the last night’s clubbing experience pretty well, I’ll just jump right in and talk about some of the things I noticed.

Upon walking inside, Trevor hit it right on the head… I felt like a tourist. It’s always a bit stran…
