It's just slow... like you said. OS X claims it's a 1.27 GHz, G3 with 1GB of RAM and 424 MHZ FSB. I'd say about 1/10th it's speed? It seems slow when it has to do something for the first time, but it "remembers" how to do it the 2nd time a little faster. No audio either. :( BTW, I'm running 3.4 GHz P4, 800FSB, 1 GB (533MHz) RAM, 800 MHz FSB.
