Windows Vista

Microsoft released their name for Longhorn, Windows Vista. I’m not terribly impressed with the name, but neither was I with ‘XP’ when it was first announced. And Beta 1 will be released August 3rd, for those of you who care to download it. :-)

    Yeah.. I don’t really like it. Like I see what they’re getting at.. windows…view..vista. But, man. Sounds kinda played out. We’ll see though.

    Yep, not terribly impressed with the name either but I’m holding out on judging the OS until I’ve used it. I just hope it lives up to expectations.
